A Bedtime Story

It's close to midnight and I can't get to sleep. Here I am in the dark, half struggling to find the keys on my laptop and half wishing that I had preempted the boredome and loneliness I would have to face in the last hours of the night by marrying a lady whose bedtime is 2 hours behind mine. If only I had had a foretaste of these still, quiet encounters beforehand(exaggerating), I would have tried harder, much harder to wind my sleeping clock to coincide with hers. Funny how our marriage counsellors failed to address this issue of 'bedtime lags'. I should provide them some feedback. In fact, in addition to chapters on "Communication" and "Conflict Resolution", a chapter on "Bedtime Coinciding" would certainly be helpful.

On hindsight, a blessing in disguise, I suppose. Afterall, what am I doing now? Blogging. When was the last time I blogged? 23rd September 2005. Four months. Slightly over. Much has happened. For one, yes as implicitly revealed, a wedding. A wedding that has gently patted me onto the new road of marriage...

A marriage of bedtimes, the cheeky part of myself interrupts my train of thought. But true. How true, that on this road, bedtimes will not be the only issue needing marriage.
However, my irregular blogging and hence practice is going to leave me with little else to blog about except bedtime lullabies.

I feel a yawn coming...Goodnight.
